Board Committees
Purpose of Board Committees:
The Board of Education uses a committee structure, where select members — totaling less than a quorum of the board, often working with the superintendent or key administrators, study specific components and issues within the district in order to make recommendations to the full board for a vote. This allows members to study and review items thoroughly prior to being voted on through the agenda.
